Artist &
Teacher
For the past 7 years, my greatest joy and passion has been learning about Sacred Geometry. I love constructing and deconstructing diagrams and patterns as well as crop circles and then adding color and dimension.
Collections
Geometrical Renderings
The language of the Universe is called Sacred Geometry. Many of the Geometrical Renderings in this collection reflect constructions of the Fibonacci sequence and / or the Golden Mean which are commonly found in nature.
Crop Circles
Crop circles emerge around the world, but mostly the crop fields of the UK during Spring, Summer and early Fall, inspiring all of the pieces in this collection. They are created using a geometer, compass, and straight edge.
Mandalas
Sacred Geometry patterns are at the core of each Mandala with expressions of vibrant colors and other symbology unique to each piece.
Mixed
Media Art
In the beginning, I began adding color to my geometrical drawings with only colored pencils and eventually I drug out the water colors and ran off to the art store to purchase artist markers. Some of my works are completed in only colored pencil, water colors and artist markers, but many of them are multi-media, and may also include 3D paint, jewels and glitter glue.

Daisy in Seven Point Geometry
This geometric artwork was drawn and designed by Judy Chapman using the tools of the geometer, compass, straightedge and pencil. The construction was drawn on watercolor paper and completed in watercolors. The daisy is drawn and painted over the top of a double seven-pointed star (heptagram) to show the interaction between nature and geometry. The butterfly brings into focus the relationship between the daisy and the importance of nature’s pollinators in our gardens.
